Why is it important to learn English?

There are many reasons why it’s important to learn English. It allows you to communicate with people in different countries. It helps you to understand another culture. It helps you both at work and at your private life. It even has health benefits, as studies have shown that people who speak two or more languages have more active minds later in life! Just think about it, by learning just one language you get so many benefits.

But there is a very important question, how to learn English efficiently and quickly?

I’ll tell you how to do it correctly but I should warn you in advance that learning any language is not a quick thing, you can’t learn language in 1,2 or 3 months, not even in one year. So if you see an advertisement „learn language with me in 3 months”, you need to understand that it’s just an advertising trick.

So, how to learn English more efficiently

You need to understand why you want to study English, you need to set goals. Before you begin or go back to, studying English, ask yourself one question. Why do I want to study English? Maybe you want to travel to an English-speaking country. Or perhaps you already know many useful phrases, but you want to improve your listening skills and pronunciation. Whatever your goals are, write them down and start working on them.

And of course, surprisingly, get a tutor. With a tutor, you will learn how to study not only efficiently, but also more sufficiently and productively. It’s like buying a membership to gym, it teaches you discipline and persistency.

Stay motivated but learn the discipline. Like in any other sphere of life, motivation can come and go but the discipline teaches you to stay on track and not to give up.

Have fun learning English, so here I can help, cause if you choose me as your tutor, you will have a lot of fun. I think if you aren’t having fun learning English, you’re not studying the right way! We will learn not only grammar but also a lot of useful words and expressions, we will listen to songs, watch movies and series and a lot more.

And of course, you need to remember that you shouldn’t be afraid to make mistakes. Be confident. People can only correct your mistakes when they hear you make them.

It’s very important to surround yourself with English. Put yourself in an all English speaking environment where you can learn passively. The best way to learn is through speaking.

Practice every day. Establish a routine, review the words, practice making the sentences with them, sing your favorite songs in the car on the way to work, watch your favorite sitcoms or cooking shows. The point is to place your attention on English at least 20 minutes per day.
